The Lil Rebel opened that same year “out in the country” on S.C. Highway 291 in Greenville, South Carolina. Located across from a peach orchard, this authentic hang-out began the long tradition of quality food and service to loyal customers who, like country music star Aaron Tippen, have returned time and time again to treasure the 50’s memorabilia and pause to experience again an icon of the past.

      Most important to the Kakouras family is the continuation of good food, an inviting atmosphere of nostalgia, and loyalty to their customers, who like themselves, treasure the memories of cruisin’ and drive-in restaurants.

      Gone may be the old location but Charlie and Spiro bring all of these memories, traditions and expectations here to their new location in Taylors, South Carolina to begin a new era in their lives and the lives of each of their loyal customers.
